Brit Eady has made a legal statement exactly one year after Bravo cameras captured Kenya Moore displaying a poster of alleged explicit photos of Eady at her hair spa launch. She has filed suit. In a lawsuit filed on June 5, Eady contends that Bravo did not verify if the images were of Eady and allowed the footage to be utilized in the show without her consent. She’s seeking damages and requesting that the network remove the episode from public view.

Brit Eady sues Bravo

Brit Eady did not have a good experience with Bravo. In just a few short months with the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was traumatized and deeply hurt. Eady isn’t going to take it lying down, though. The Housewives rookie just filed a $20 million lawsuit against the network.

According to People, Brit Eady has filed a lawsuit against Bravo. NBCUniversal and the production firms True Original and Endemol Shine North America are also named. In the complaint, she accuses them of defamation, emotional distress, sexual harassment, and fostering a hostile work environment. Much of the complaint stems from the June 2024 incident involving Kenya Moore.

Eady’s complaint outlines what happened on the day of the shoot and how she repeatedly requested copies of the photos from Bravo. In her filing, Eady states that Bravo took forever to hand over copies and aired the storyline despite failing to verify if the pictures were actually of Eady. Aside from a massive payout, Eady is also requesting that the network bury the footage.

The rookie’s tenure with Bravo appears to be over

Brit Eady was in her very first season of the franchise when Kenya Moore claimed to have intimate photos of Eady. Eady claims to have been traumatized by the events. Since then, she has spent a considerable amount of time distancing herself from the network. She wants so much distance, it seems, that she also didn’t appear at a taping for the season 16 reunion special. While it seems she was invited, she opted to file a lawsuit instead.

According to several sources, Bravo held the taping on June 5, the same day Eady filed her lawsuit. Eady is said to be devastated by the actions of Moore and Bravo. It is unclear how the network will address her absence.

As for Kenya Moore, she was suspended after the photo incident. Bravo also demoted her to a “guest” role in season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was also dropped from the reunion. In an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, Moore said she felt “disrespected’ by being abruptly disinvited. She confirmed that she was initially slated to appear. She also issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter) about being ousted from the reunion. It is unclear where Moore and Bravo stand at the moment.
