The long wait is over! More than two years after season 2 dropped on Netflix, Ginny & Georgia Season 3 is almost here. We have all the details you need to know about the fresh season of the mother-daughter comedy-drama, including when you’ll be able to watch the new episodes.

When is ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 on Netflix?

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 premieres Thursday, June 5 at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Netflix. The season has 10, hour-long episodes, which will all be available to stream on premiere day.

What happened in ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 2?

It’s been a while since we last checked in with Ginny and Georgia, so it’s not surprising that fans might need a refresh.

In season 2, Ginny began seeing a therapist to deal with her self-harming. Meanwhile, her relationship with her mom was tense because she’d figured out that Georgia killed her previous husband, Kenny, to protect Ginny from his abuse. Ginny also continued to see Marcus, even though the revelation of their clandestine relationship caused a falling out with her bestie, Max. Eventually, she and Max talked it out and rekindled their friendship. Unfortunately, Marcus later broke Ginny’s heart when he dumped her because he was struggling with depression.

As Ginny navigated high school drama and her complicated feelings about her mom’s past, Georgia had to deal with the unexpected return of her son Austin’s dad, Gil, who tried to blackmail her in exchange for keeping her secrets. Georgia’s former nemesis Cynthia helped out her rival-turned-friend by preventing Gil from renting an apartment in town. To repay her, Georgia took action after Cynthia opened up about the burden of caring for her dying husband, Tom. Georgia killed Tom by smothering him with a pillow, believing it was an act of kindness for both him and Cynthia.

That same night, Austin shot and injured Gil when he attacked Georgia. She and Ginny frantically covered up evidence of the incident before Georgia’s fiancé Paul came home. But Georgia did decide to come clean about some – though not all – of her past crimes before she and Paul walked down the aisle. Paul told Georgia he loved her despite her checkered past. But their happily ever after was thrown into doubt when police arrested Georgia for Tom’s murder during her and her new husband’s first dance.
