Kyle Richards Is Judging Mauricio Umansky for Giving ‘Major Midlife Crisis Vibes’ After Their Split
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have been living separate lives since their split, and she’s side-eyeing some of his behavior. The couple announced their separation in 2023, but have remained on relatively good terms considering the situation. She isn’t afraid to share her opinion on what she sees as his midlife crisis, though.

In 2023, Richards and Umansky confirmed their separation after months of rumors. They’ve tried to focus on remaining on good terms for the sake of their children, but Richards doesn’t agree with all of her ex’s behavior.
“I mean, I would say this to his face, which I actually have,” she said on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show on Bravo. “Kind of watching how he’s been navigating through this situation, there’s been times I’ve thought, ‘Oh, this is giving major midlife crisis vibes.'”
She joked that Umansky’s new car is his “midlife crisis mobile.” Richards described it as a “big monster truck.”
“It looks like a monster coming through town. It’s not like one you see around,” she said. “Everyone stares, and you’re like, ‘Oh god.'”
Umansky has also been linked to several women since the separation.

Though Richards and Umansky confirmed their separation almost two years ago, they have yet to finalize their divorce. The former couple is reportedly in no rush to do so.
“After being in a routine for decades, they have had a lot to figure out while navigating their new normal,” a source told People. “Going through a separation has been challenging enough that no one is rushing to get a divorce.”
Richards described them as “really good friends,” and said neither she nor Umansky has felt comfortable bringing up divorce yet.
“It’s hard and it’s not something either one of us obviously feel comfortable initiating,” she said. “We just kind of let it go and [we’re] just really good friends and we care about each other and we get along … it is what it is right now.”
The pair is reportedly still “working on how to establish their individual lives while remaining connected as a family.”
She has been secretive about her love life after her separation
Ever since her separation from Umansky, fans of Richards have wondered if she is in a relationship with country singer Morgan Wade. Richards has not confirmed or denied any rumors about their potential romance, and their relationship has not played out on camera. Richards has tried to protect Wade from scrutiny.
“She was not used to being in the public eye, so I felt bad she was going through that,” Richards told Us Weekly. “It’s quieted down for sure, but I was at a music festival where she was playing, and it was like, ‘Oh, my God, Kyle’s backstage!’ They get excited. I tune it out.”
Richards said she has tried to ignore the speculation about her sexuality and love life. It hasn’t always been easy, though.
“I’ve been called so many names,” she said. “People weigh in on arguments on the show even though they don’t know the backstory. People have speculated about my marriage and my sexuality. I let most of it go, but sometimes you’re like, ‘Come on. Give me a break.’”
